AI workforce for Interior Design Marketing

AI agents for marketing teams in interior design

Actionist is an AI automation tool whose agents operate the apps your interior design studio already uses, from resizing reveal photos by hand to galleries sorted and posts drafted before the next shoot.

Design studios get back the hours lost to image resizing, Houzz write-ups, and newsletter drafting.

Where you spend your time

Why Interior Design Marketing teams switch

We know how your week actually goes

What matters to you
  • Reveal photos turned into posts
Every finished install becomes a gallery, a Houzz story, and a week of social posts.
  • Profiles that match the portfolio
Houzz, Pinterest, Google, and the website show the same current work.
  • A feed that never goes quiet
Posts, carousels, and replies keep moving between projects.
  • A newsletter that actually ships
Seasonal and project sends are drafted and held for one review.
  • Reviews asked for and answered
Finished clients are invited to review, and every review gets a considered reply.
  • Press and awards not missed
Deadlines are tracked and entries assembled. Built around your studio.

And hundreds of other tasks you do manually..

An agent can take a lot off your team's plate. Take a look below to see the time and cost you could save by adding AI agents to your Interior Design Marketing team's day.

The problem

Where the hours go

  • A finished install is a great week for the studio, then the photographer's gallery sits in a folder for a month because nobody has time to crop it for four platforms.

An agent sorts the gallery, builds each platform's crops and captions, and queues the set for a designer's approval while the project is still fresh.

  • The Houzz profile still shows work from three projects ago, the Google listing has old photos, and the website gallery is a quarter behind.

An agent drafts the story and tags for each new project and refreshes every profile from one approved gallery, so the studio looks current everywhere.

  • The newsletter gets written from a blank page the night before it is due, and a glowing client review sits unanswered for nine days.

An agent drafts the send from recent projects and flags each new review with a drafted reply, so one review pass covers both.

  • An awards deadline passes unnoticed, and a magazine editor's request for images goes to the wrong folder.

An agent tracks deadlines and call-outs, assembles entries and pitches, and leaves the choice of what to enter to the principal.

Triggers

Your Agent wakes up Automatically whenever something happens

Your agents watch the apps you already use and act the moment something happens, usually within about a minute, handle it based on your instructions, 24/7.

WhenThe photographer delivers a project galleryfires within about a minute
The agent automatically

When a photographer's delivery email or gallery link arrives, the agent picks it up within about a minute, downloads the images, labels them by room, removes near-duplicates, and drafts platform crops and captions. A designer reviews the contact sheet and approves the set before anything is posted or shared.

Trust & control

You stay in control

A marketing agent writes in the studio's name and touches the images clients trust you with, so nothing public should appear without your say. Actionist is built so a designer approves every post, send, and reply before it leaves the studio.

Nothing posts without a yes

Posts, newsletters, review replies, and press pitches are drafted and queued, then held for a designer's approval before they go out.

Client privacy gets a check

The agent flags any project whose agreement limits publishing or where a face, a house number, or a name appears in a photo.

Autonomy set task by task

Let routine internal work, like tagging photos, run on Guarded auto while public posts stay on Suggest or Ask each time.

Approve from Telegram or Slack

Approve a caption or a review reply with one tap from the showroom, the site, or a trade show.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does my interior design marketing team need to be technical to use Actionist?
No. Actionist is built for designers, studio managers, and the person who runs the Instagram, not developers. You describe each job in plain language, such as sorting a photographer's gallery or drafting a Houzz story, connect the apps you use, and the agent does the repeat work. There is no code and no API setup for most tools.
How do I get started with a marketing agent for my studio?
Pick the job that eats the most time, often the post-shoot gallery sort or the monthly newsletter. Describe it as you would to a new studio assistant, connect Dropbox or Google Drive, your email tool, and Instagram, and set the agent to Suggest so it drafts and you approve. Add a second job once the first feels right.
How do I make a custom agent for how our studio markets?
Describe the task, your voice, and the apps involved. If you always credit the stylist, never show house numbers, or write Houzz stories in a particular structure, put that in the brief and the agent follows it. The agents shown here are examples. You can build one for any marketing job your studio repeats.
How quickly can I set up a marketing agent?
A first agent, such as a gallery sorter or a review watcher, can usually be running the same day, because setup is connecting folders, accounts, and a short description of your style. Newsletter and campaign agents take a little longer to learn your voice. Plan an afternoon per job and a few weeks of small tweaks.
Where do our project photos and client data live, and is anything used to train AI models?
Credentials are kept in an encrypted vault, agent memory stays on your own machine, and you can self-host Actionist on your own server. Photos and client details are read only by the agents you connect, and every run is logged step by step with screenshots so you can see what happened.
Houzz Pro and our website editor have no integration, will an agent still work?
Yes. The agent can work an app with no connector by using its screen like a person: opening Houzz Pro, adding room tags, and filling in a project page. That screen work runs in the cloud, so the computer needs to be on while a job runs, and it is how most of a studio's tools are reached.
Will it post to Instagram or send the newsletter without me seeing it first?
Not unless you widen its autonomy. By default posts, newsletters, review replies, and press pitches are drafts held for a designer's approval, and you can approve from Telegram or Slack with one tap. Approval Modes let routine internal jobs, like photo tagging, run more freely while anything public stays on approval. Destructive actions always ask first.
What about client privacy and photographer rights? Could it publish something it should not?
The agent checks the signed agreement and the photographer's licence and flags limits before drafting a post, and it lists images that show faces, names, or house numbers. It will not publish anything on its own. A designer decides what is shown, and rights or legal questions go to the principal or your counsel.
Will the content sound like our studio, not a template?
You coach it the way you would coach a junior studio assistant: share past posts and Houzz stories you like, name the words you never use, and correct drafts as they arrive. The agent keeps the notes in memory and improves. Every draft still passes through a designer before it goes public.
