AI workforce for Consulting Customer Support

AI agents for customer support teams in consulting firms

Actionist is an AI automation tool whose agents operate the apps your consulting client team already uses, from hand-writing sponsor updates and chasing data requests to drafts and queues ready for the engagement lead.

Client questions answered, data requests chased, and the sponsor update drafted before the engagement lead sits down.

Where you spend your time

Why Consulting Customer Support teams switch

We know how your week actually goes

What matters to you
  • Every client question gets an owner
Questions to the engagement mailbox are logged, acknowledged in draft, and routed to the right consultant.
  • The sponsor update writes itself
Progress, risks and next steps arrive as a draft in the client's own format before the weekly check-in.
  • Data requests do not stall the project
Each outstanding client item is tracked, with a reminder drafted for the right person on the client side.
  • Workshops end with a clear recap
Decisions, owners and dates go to client attendees as a draft, so nothing is left to memory.
  • Unhappy clients are heard early
Pulse scores and complaints are logged and surfaced to the partner while there is time to respond.
  • Hypercare questions have a queue
After go-live, client questions land in one queue with the runbook answer found, ready for review.

And hundreds of other tasks you do manually..

An agent can take a lot off your team's plate. Take a look below to see the time and cost you could save by adding AI agents to your Consulting Customer Support team's day.

The problem

Where the hours go

  • Client questions arrive in the engagement mailbox, in a sponsor's reply, and in a workshop chat, and nobody can say who owns which. A sponsor waits days for an answer a consultant assumed someone else had given.

An agent reads the client mailboxes, logs each question against the engagement, finds the owner on the staffing sheet, and drafts the acknowledgement for the engagement lead to approve.

  • The weekly sponsor update is written from scratch every Friday afternoon, gathered from three tools and rewritten into whatever layout that client's PMO happens to want.

An agent pulls the week's progress, risks and next steps into a draft in the client's own format, and the engagement lead edits and approves it.

  • The project stalls on client data. Files arrive partial, the right contact is unclear, and chasing the overdue items falls to a consultant who would rather be doing analysis.

An agent tracks every item on the information request list, checks incoming files against the request, and drafts a reminder for the right client contact, held for approval.

  • After go-live the client's team keeps asking how things work, and answers live in a runbook nobody can find. Hypercare questions bounce between consultants and the response commitment is missed.

An agent logs each hypercare question, finds the runbook answer, flags the response clock, and routes defects to delivery, leaving the reply for a consultant to approve.

Triggers

Your Agent wakes up Automatically whenever something happens

Your agents watch the apps you already use and act the moment something happens, usually within about a minute, handle it based on your instructions, 24/7.

WhenA client emails the engagement mailbox with a questionfires within about a minute
The agent automatically

When a new client message lands in the shared engagement mailbox, the agent reads it, logs the question against the engagement, checks the staffing sheet for the right consultant, and drafts a short acknowledgement. The draft waits for the engagement lead's approval and nothing is sent to the client until a person has approved it.

Trust & control

You stay in control

An agent working near your clients only earns trust if you stay in control of every word that reaches them. Actionist is built so you see what it read, approve what it drafts, and keep the relationship in the hands of the engagement lead.

Client messages wait for approval

Acknowledgements, status updates, reminders and recaps are drafted for the engagement lead. Nothing reaches a client unless you widen that autonomy yourself.

Complaints and escalations go to a partner

The agent logs and summarises a concern. A partner decides how to respond, what to concede and who speaks to the client.

Client data stays in your systems

The agent works inside your mailboxes, file stores and project tools under the permissions you give it, and client material is not mixed between engagements.

Every draft and action is logged

You can see what was read, what was drafted and what was filed, so you can answer a client who asks how a question was handled.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does our consulting client team need to be technical to use Actionist?
No. Actionist is built for client-facing teams, not developers. You describe how questions, updates and data requests work on an engagement in plain language, connect the mailboxes and tools you already use, and coach the agent the way you would coach a new coordinator. There is no code to write.
How do we get started with an agent for client updates?
Book a free demo and an Actionist team member will take one real task with you, such as drafting the weekly sponsor update or logging engagement mailbox questions. Start with one engagement, review the drafts, and add more jobs once you trust the output.
Can we build a custom agent for how our firm talks to clients?
Yes. The agents shown are examples. You can build a custom agent around your own update formats, escalation rules, hypercare terms and client templates, and point it at the tools you already use. Describe the job and the agent works the way you coach it.
How quickly can we set it up for a new engagement?
A single job such as logging the engagement mailbox or drafting the weekly update can usually run within a day of connecting the mailbox and project tool. Mapping a client's own reporting template is a short, one-off conversation, and later weekly drafts follow it.
Will it send anything to a client without the engagement lead seeing it?
No. Acknowledgements, status updates, reminders, recaps and survey invitations are drafted and wait for approval. The agent prepares and a person decides. You can widen that autonomy through Approval Modes later, but by default nothing reaches a client until the engagement lead approves it.
Our clients' portals and shared drives have no API. Will it still work?
Yes. Actionist agents operate apps the way a person would, so a client's SharePoint or request portal can be read and filed to without an integration project. Computer use runs in the cloud, and access follows the permissions the client has given your consultants.
Client material is confidential. How is it kept separate between engagements?
The agent works inside your own mailboxes, folders and project tools under the permissions you set, so each engagement's material stays in its own workspace. Every action is logged, and you should check your client contracts and NDAs and bring those requirements to the demo.
What happens when a client is unhappy or raises a complaint?
The agent logs the concern, summarises it with the engagement context, flags it to the partner, and drafts a calm acknowledgement for approval. How to respond, what to concede and who speaks to the client are decisions for the partner. It does not negotiate or settle anything on its own.
Is this meant to replace our engagement managers?
No. It takes over the repetitive coordination: logging questions, drafting updates, tracking data requests and writing recaps. Your engagement leads keep the relationship, the judgement about what to tell the client, and every approval, with more time for the conversations that win renewals.
