AI workforce for IT Services Customer Support

AI agents for customer support teams in IT services

Actionist is an AI automation tool whose agents operate the apps your IT helpdesk already uses, from reading tickets by hand to triage and escalation that run themselves while replies wait for your approval.

Every ticket read against its client's SLA tier within about a minute of landing in the queue.

Where you spend your time

Why IT Services Customer Support teams switch

We know how your week actually goes

What matters to you
  • Every ticket triaged against the real SLA
A Gold client's thirty-minute window and a Bronze client's four-hour one are read from the contract, not guessed.
  • Repeat requests answered, no human touch
Password resets, access requests, and installs get the standard fix from the client's own KB.
  • Escalations arrive ready to work
An L2 or L3 engineer gets the incident history, tier, and SLA status the moment a ticket routes up.
  • CSAT chased before it becomes a churn signal
Every closed ticket gets a satisfaction check, and a low score reaches you the same day, not at the QBR.
  • Fixes turn into knowledge, not tribal memory
A solved incident becomes a reusable macro instead of getting re-solved by the next engineer on shift.
  • Built around your helpdesk
These are examples of what a support agent can do. Build a custom agent for what your desk repeats.

And hundreds of other tasks you do manually..

An agent can take a lot off your team's plate. Take a look below to see the time and cost you could save by adding AI agents to your IT Services Customer Support team's day.

The problem

Where the hours go

  • Every new ticket looks the same in a shared queue until someone opens it, checks which client sent it, and works out whether the SLA clock is thirty minutes or four hours, and by the time three or four have piled up the fastest clock is already the one that gets missed.

An agent reads each ticket the moment it lands, matches the sender against the client's contract tier, and assigns the priority and the right engineer within about a minute, so the tightest SLA is never the one buried at the bottom of the list.

  • An engineer decides a ticket needs a senior colleague, forwards it with a one-line note, and the senior engineer opens it cold, has to dig through the client's history to find what has already been tried, and re-asks the customer questions they already answered.

An agent identifies the tickets that need L2 or L3, attaches the full incident history, the client's tier, and the current SLA status before it routes, so the escalation lands ready to work instead of another ticket to reconstruct.

  • A ticket closes and the satisfaction survey either never goes out or goes out to everyone the same way, so a client who quietly gave a low score sits unnoticed until the account manager finds out at renewal time that they had been unhappy for months.

An agent sends the CSAT request the moment a ticket closes, collates the responses by client, and flags a low score the same day it arrives so someone can call before it becomes a renewal conversation.

  • A VIP client's weekend incident sits in the general queue with everything else until Monday morning, because nobody had a clear view of which tickets came in overnight, from whom, and whether the on-call engineer already looked at it.

An agent checks the overnight and weekend queue at shift start, flags anything from a VIP contract or with a breached SLA, and hands the on-call engineer's notes to the morning team so nothing waits on a shift change that never happened cleanly.

Triggers

Your Agent wakes up Automatically whenever something happens

Your agents watch the apps you already use and act the moment something happens, usually within about a minute, handle it based on your instructions, 24/7.

WhenA new ticket lands in the helpdeskfires within about a minute
The agent automatically

Within about a minute of a ticket arriving in Freshdesk, the agent checks the requesting contact's SLA tier in HaloPSA and drafts the priority and routing.

With Actionist

What your agent runs for you

  • Customer Support
    140 min / week
Reading every ticket in order to find the tightest SLA

An engineer works the queue top to bottom, opening each ticket to check the client and the contract before knowing whether it is a thirty-minute or a four-hour clock.

    Customer Support Agent
    0 min
Agent triages against the SLA tier the moment it lands

An agent reads each ticket within about a minute, matches the client's tier, and drafts the priority and routing, so the tightest clock is never buried behind an easier one.

  • Customer Support
    90 min / week
Handing off an escalation with a one-line note

A ticket gets forwarded to a senior engineer, who has to dig through the client's history and re-ask questions the customer already answered before starting the real fix.

    Customer Support Agent
    0 min
Agent attaches full context before it routes

An agent pulls the client's incident history, contract tier, and SLA status and attaches it to the escalation, so the senior engineer starts working instead of re-reading.

  • Customer Support
    60 min / week
Sending CSAT surveys in an occasional batch

Someone remembers to send satisfaction surveys once every week or two, well after the resolution is fresh, and a low score sits unnoticed until it surfaces at renewal.

    Customer Support Agent
    0 min
Agent sends and flags CSAT the same day

An agent sends the survey the moment a ticket closes, collates the scores by client, and flags a low one to the account manager the same day it arrives.

  • Customer Support
    75 min / week
Re-solving the same fix from memory

A repeat issue gets solved again from scratch because nobody wrote it up the first time, and the engineer who knew the answer is out that day.

    Customer Support Agent
    0 min
Agent drafts a KB article from the resolved ticket

An agent notices a repeat fix and drafts a reusable article filed against the client and system, so the next engineer finds the answer instead of rebuilding it.

  • Customer Support
    55 min / week
    Piecing together what happened overnight

The morning shift scrolls the on-call chat trying to work out which weekend tickets are actually still open and what the on-call engineer already tried.

    Customer Support Agent
    0 min
Agent briefs the morning team before shift start

An agent reviews the overnight queue, flags anything from a VIP contract, and hands the morning team a clean, ranked brief before anyone logs in.

Trust & control

You stay in control

An agent touching client tickets, credentials, and contract data only earns its place on the desk if you can see exactly what it did. Actionist is built so every reply to a client waits for your approval and every check it runs is logged.

Client-facing replies wait for your approval

A status update, a CSAT follow-up, or anything else that reaches a client contact is drafted first and queued for sign-off, never sent on its own unless you widen that autonomy yourself.

It checks access, it never holds the keys

During a reset or a provisioning request, the agent confirms an account's status against your directory and vault. It does not store or expose client credentials.

A full audit trail of every ticket it touched

Every triage decision, every escalation, and every macro sent is logged with a timestamp, so you can see exactly what the agent did on a client's ticket and when.

Your client data stays yours

Ticket content, contract terms, and client records stay in your systems. Actionist operates the apps you already run and does not become a second copy of your data.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does my support team need to be technical to set this up?
No. Your engineers already know the tools, Freshdesk, HaloPSA, whatever helpdesk you run, and that is all Actionist needs. You describe how triage, escalation, and CSAT follow-up should work in plain language, connect the apps, and the agent operates them the way an engineer would. There is no code to write.
How do I get started?
Book a free demo and Actionist walks through your actual helpdesk setup with you: your SLA tiers, your ticketing tool, and where triage currently breaks down. From there you connect the apps your team already uses and the agent starts running the tasks you approve.
How do I make a customised AI agent for my helpdesk?
The triage, escalation, and CSAT agents shown here are examples, not the limit. If your desk has its own quirks, a client-specific SLA structure, a niche PSA tool, a review step nobody else runs, you can build a custom agent around exactly that workflow.
How quickly can I set Actionist up?
Most support teams have a first agent triaging real tickets the same day: connect your helpdesk and PSA, tell the agent your SLA tiers, and it starts drafting priority and routing for your approval. Building out the full set of agents across your desk usually takes a few days.
Is client ticket and contract data safe with Actionist?
Your ticket content, client contracts, and credential vault stay in the systems you already use. Actionist operates those apps on your behalf, it does not create a second copy of the data or store client credentials, and you control exactly which apps it connects to.
What about tools that do not expose an API, like an older PSA portal?
Plenty of client and vendor helpdesk portals were never built with an API. Actionist's desktop agent uses computer use to operate the screen directly, reading and entering ticket data the way an engineer at the keyboard would, so a missing API never stops the triage or reply.
Will the agent ever send something to a client without me seeing it first?
No. Any message that reaches a client, a status update, a CSAT follow-up, a renewal note, is drafted and held for your approval before it sends, unless you deliberately widen that autonomy through Approval Modes. Nothing client-facing goes out on its own by default.
Can it actually tell the difference between a Bronze and a Gold contract?
Yes. The agent reads the client's contract tier from your PSA, HaloPSA, Autotask, or wherever it is recorded, and applies the correct SLA window when it triages a ticket. If a client's tier changes, updating the record updates how every future ticket is triaged.
What happens to tickets that come in overnight or on the weekend?
The agent reviews the overnight and weekend queue as soon as the next shift starts, separates anything from a top-tier contract or an SLA already at risk, and hands the team a ranked brief. It does not work the tickets itself outside your plan's runtime coverage.
