AI workforce for SaaS Customer Support

AI agents for SaaS customer support teams

Actionist is an AI automation tool whose agents operate the apps your support team already uses. From tagging every ticket by hand to a triage pass, a drafted reply, and a clean bug report, all in about a minute.

SaaS support reps get back the hours lost to triage, copy-pasting order and account context, and chasing missing information.

Where you spend your time

Why SaaS Customer Support teams switch

We know how your week actually goes

What matters to you
  • Every ticket triaged within about a minute
New tickets are tagged, scored for severity, and routed to the right queue before a human opens it.
  • First replies drafted from the help center
The relevant article or prior answer is pulled into a draft, so a rep reviews instead of starting blank.
  • Bugs handed to engineering, not forwarded
Steps to reproduce are extracted and checked for duplicates before a clean Jira ticket reaches the queue.
  • SLA clocks watched on every plan tier
Enterprise tickets are watched against their deadline and escalated before the clock runs out, not after.
  • Every NPS detractor hears back personally
Unhappy survey responses get an acknowledgment fast, and the week's comments group by theme.
  • Built around your support stack
These are examples of what a SaaS support agent can do. Build a custom agent for what your team repeats.

And hundreds of other tasks you do manually..

An agent can take a lot off your team's plate. Take a look below to see the time and cost you could save by adding AI agents to your SaaS Customer Support team's day.

The problem

Where the hours go

  • A ticket lands at 6pm with no tag, no severity, and no owner, and by the time anyone opens the queue in the morning it has been sitting untouched for twelve hours.

An agent reads, tags, and scores every ticket the moment it lands and routes it to the right queue in about a minute, day or night.

  • A customer describes a bug in three rambling sentences, and someone has to read it twice, guess at the steps to reproduce, and hope it is not a duplicate of something already filed.

An agent extracts clean steps to reproduce, checks whether it has already been filed, and hands engineering a ticket that needs no follow-up questions to start on.

  • An enterprise ticket quietly breaches its SLA because nobody was watching the clock, and the first anyone hears about it is an angry follow-up from the customer.

An agent watches every open ticket against its plan's SLA deadline and posts an escalation alert before the clock runs out, not after.

  • A detractor leaves a one out of ten NPS score and nobody follows up personally, because reading and triaging survey comments always loses to the ticket queue.

An agent drafts a genuine acknowledgment to every NPS detractor within about a minute and groups the week's comments into themes worth acting on.

Triggers

Your Agent wakes up Automatically whenever something happens

Your agents watch the apps you already use and act the moment something happens, usually within about a minute, handle it based on your instructions, 24/7.

WhenA new support ticket arrivesfires within about a minute
The agent automatically

The moment a ticket lands, the agent reads it, tags it by category and product area, scores its severity, routes it to the right queue, and drafts a first response pulled from the help center. The draft waits for a rep's approval before it reaches the customer.

Agent drafts from the help center for review

An agent searches the help center and past answers, drafts a personalised first reply, and queues it for the rep's approval.

  • Customer Support
    90 min / week
    Filing bugs to engineering

A rep forwards a customer's confusing bug description as-is, and engineering spends time asking follow-up questions before they can even start investigating.

Agent extracts steps and files a clean ticket

An agent extracts clear steps to reproduce, checks for duplicates, and files a structured Jira ticket engineering can start work on without back-and-forth.

  • Customer Support

    Watching enterprise SLA deadlines

Nobody notices a ticket is close to breaching until the customer emails asking why they have not heard back, and by then it is already too late.

Agent watches every clock and escalates early

An agent watches every enterprise ticket against its SLA and alerts the rep and manager an hour before it would breach.

Trust & control

You stay in control

An agent reading customer tickets, account data, and survey comments only earns its place if you stay in control of what leaves the queue. Actionist is built so a rep decides what gets sent, a lead sees everything, and nothing irreversible happens without sign-off.

Every customer-facing reply waits for a rep

By default, first responses, NPS acknowledgments, and status updates are drafted and queued for review. Nothing reaches a customer without a rep choosing to send it.

Destructive actions always ask first

Anything that closes a ticket without resolution, issues a refund, or deletes a record stops for explicit approval, regardless of how much autonomy you have granted elsewhere.

Every action is logged

A full audit trail records every tag, every drafted reply, and every bug ticket filed, so a support lead can see exactly what the agent did on any ticket.

Customer data stays yours

Ticket content, account history, and survey responses are encrypted, never used to train models, and can run on your own infrastructure if your security review requires it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does my SaaS support team need to be technical to set this up?
No. You describe the job in plain English, for example "tag and score every new ticket, then draft a reply from our help center", connect your help desk in a guided step, and the agent starts running. Reps do not write code, and most teams have their first drafts appearing inside a day.
How do I get started with an AI agent for SaaS customer support?
Start with one bottleneck, usually ticket triage or first-response drafting, and connect the app it needs, typically your help desk and knowledge base. Keep it in approval mode while you review the drafts, then widen its autonomy on the routine tickets once it has earned your trust.
How do I make customised AI agents for the way our support team actually works?
The triage, first-response, and NPS agents shown here are a starting point, not a limit. You can build a custom AI agent for anything your team repeats: routing a specific enterprise account's tickets to a named engineer, drafting a particular partner's escalation format, or pulling a field from your product database into every reply. You describe the job in plain English and it runs on a schedule or when a trigger fires.
How quickly can I set Actionist up for a SaaS support queue?
Most support teams have their first agent, usually ticket triage and first-response drafting, running the same day they connect their help desk. There is no migration and nothing to rip out. You keep every draft in review mode at first, and expand once the tagging and reply quality match how your reps would have done it.
Is customer data kept private when an agent reads our tickets?
Yes. Credentials are encrypted in a vault and never shown again after setup. Ticket content, account history, and survey responses are never used to train models, and every action an agent takes is logged with a screenshot, so you can see exactly what it read and drafted. Teams with stricter compliance needs can self-host Actionist on their own infrastructure.
Our help desk and product database are not connected by an API. Can the agent still pull account context?
In most cases, yes. Rather than waiting on a clean API bridge between the two, the agent works each tool the way a support rep would: it opens the product database on screen, reads the usage data relevant to the ticket, and writes that context straight into the help desk record. If an API is available it uses it; if not, the desktop app carries the automation on screen instead.
Will an agent send a reply to a customer without a rep seeing it first?
Not unless you decide it should. Every first response, NPS acknowledgment, and status update is drafted and waits for a rep's approval by default, and you can approve from Telegram or Slack with one tap. Anything irreversible, like closing a ticket without resolution or issuing a refund, always asks first, and that cannot be turned off.
What happens to tickets that come in overnight or over a weekend?
On the desktop app, agents work while it is open. To keep triaging tickets and watching SLA clocks while your team is offline, you move the agent to the hosted cloud runtime on a paid plan, and it keeps working unattended. Every reply still waits in approval mode by default, so nothing reaches a customer without the sign-off you have set.
Is this going to replace our support reps?
No. It removes the admin, not the judgment. The work it takes over is the part reps already resent: re-typing the same first-response answer, searching for whether a bug was already reported, and reading survey comments nobody had time for. Hand that to an agent and your reps spend their hours on the hard cases and the customers who need a real conversation, which is the work a person is actually good at.
