AI workforce for IT Services Operations

AI agents for operations teams in IT services

Actionist is an AI automation tool whose agents operate the apps your IT ops desk already uses, from pulling SLA status by hand before Monday, to a digest already in Slack and a change checklist that runs itself.

Every client's SLA status, patch compliance, and open ticket count in one digest before the day begins.

Where you spend your time

Why IT Services Operations teams switch

We know how your week actually goes

What matters to you
  • The SLA picture ready before the meeting
Every client's ticket count and breach risk sits in one digest before the Monday review starts.
  • Change requests logged the moment they land
An email, form, or Slack message becomes a tracked change with the checklist attached, not a note that waits.
  • New clients provisioned the same way, always
Monitoring, ticketing, and documentation stand up from one checklist so nothing is missed on day one.
  • Maintenance windows confirmed before opening
Backup, rollback plan, and vendor readiness are checked and posted before a change window starts.
  • Renewals tracked before they lapse silently
Seats, certificates, and contracts are checked against their expiry dates weeks ahead, not the day after.
  • Built around your ops desk
These are examples of what an operations agent can do. Build a custom agent for what your desk repeats.

And hundreds of other tasks you do manually..

An agent can take a lot off your team's plate. Take a look below to see the time and cost you could save by adding AI agents to your IT Services Operations team's day.

The problem

Where the hours go

  • Before the Monday ops meeting someone has to open the PSA, count open tickets per client, cross-check which SLA clocks are closest to breach, and check last night's patch and backup logs by hand, and by the time it is compiled half of it is already an hour stale.

An agent pulls ticket counts, SLA risk, and patch and backup status from every client and posts one digest to Slack before the shift starts, so the coordinator walks into the meeting already knowing where to look first.

  • A change request comes in by email or a phone call, gets scribbled into a notes doc, and sometimes never makes it into the change log at all, so the pre-deployment checklist, backup verified, rollback plan documented, gets skipped under time pressure.

An agent logs every change request the moment it arrives, with the client and system attached, and runs the standard pre-deployment checklist ahead of the window so nothing opens without a verified backup and a documented rollback plan.

  • Standing up a new client means someone manually adding their devices to monitoring, creating the ticketing project, setting up the documentation folder, and provisioning access, in whatever order they remember, so a step gets missed until it surfaces as an incident weeks later.

An agent runs the same onboarding checklist for every new client, monitoring configured, ticketing project created, documentation stood up, and flags any step it cannot complete for a human to finish, so nothing depends on memory.

  • Microsoft 365 seats, antivirus licenses, SSL certificates, and the client's own service contract all expire on different schedules tracked in different places, so a renewal lapses quietly until a client calls asking why their certificate just failed.

An agent checks every license, certificate, and contract against its expiry date on a schedule and flags anything coming due weeks ahead, so a renewal is a planned task, not a client's outage report.

Triggers

Your Agent wakes up Automatically whenever something happens

Your agents watch the apps you already use and act the moment something happens, usually within about a minute, handle it based on your instructions, 24/7.

Trust & control

You stay in control

An agent touching client contracts, access, and renewal data only earns its place on the ops desk if you can see exactly what it changed. Actionist is built so every client-facing notice waits for your approval and every action is logged.

Client-facing notices wait for your approval

A maintenance window notice or a renewal reminder is drafted first and queued for your sign-off, never sent on its own unless you widen that autonomy yourself.

It checks access, it never holds the keys

During onboarding or offboarding, the agent confirms account status against your directory and vault. It does not store or expose client credentials.

A full audit trail of every change it touched

Every checklist run, every provisioning step, and every renewal flag is logged with a timestamp, so you can see exactly what the agent did and when.

Your client and contract data stays yours

Contract terms, license records, and client documentation stay in the systems you already run. Actionist operates those apps, it does not copy the data elsewhere.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does my ops team need to be technical to set this up?
No. Your coordinators already know the PSA and ticketing tools, Autotask, HaloPSA, whatever you run, and that is all Actionist needs. You describe how your SLA digest, change process, and onboarding checklist should work in plain language, connect the apps, and the agent operates them the way a coordinator would.
How do I get started?
Book a free demo and Actionist walks through your actual ops setup with you: your PSA, your change process, and where the manual work piles up today. From there you connect the apps your team already uses and the agent starts running the tasks you approve.
How do I make a customised AI agent for my ops desk?
The digest, checklist, and renewal agents shown here are examples, not the limit. If your desk runs a specific onboarding sequence, a niche PSA, or a review step nobody else runs, you can build a custom agent around exactly that workflow.
How quickly can I set Actionist up?
Most ops teams have a first agent compiling a real SLA digest the same day: connect your PSA and monitoring tools, and it starts pulling the numbers for your approval. Building out the full set of agents across change, onboarding, and renewals usually takes a few days.
Is client contract and license data safe with Actionist?
Your contracts, license records, and client documentation stay in the systems you already use. Actionist operates those apps on your behalf, it does not create a second copy of the data or store client credentials, and you control exactly which apps it connects to.
What about vendor portals or an RMM tool with no API?
A lot of MSP and vendor portals were never built with an API. Actionist's desktop agent uses computer use to operate the screen directly, logging into a portal and reading or entering data the way a person would, so a missing API does not block the workflow.
Will the agent ever notify a client without me seeing it first?
No. Any notice that reaches a client, a maintenance window notification, a renewal reminder, is drafted and held for your approval before it sends, unless you deliberately widen that autonomy through Approval Modes. Nothing client-facing goes out on its own by default.
Can it tell which vendor or contract a change request depends on?
Yes. The agent reads the client and system a change request relates to from your PSA and links it to the relevant vendor and contract record, so the pre-deployment checklist checks the right dependencies before the window opens.
How does this handle a client whose renewal dates are all different?
Every client's license, certificate, and contract dates are tracked individually, not on a shared calendar. The agent checks each one against its own expiry date and flags it on its own schedule, so a client with an odd renewal cycle is never missed.
