AI workforce for Risk

AI agents for Risk teams

Actionist is an AI automation tool whose agents operate the apps your risk team already uses. From re-checking vendor news by hand and updating the register every quarter, to risk flagged the day it appears.

Risk teams get back the hours lost to chasing vendor news, updating the register, and building the committee pack.

Where you spend your time

Why Risk teams switch

We know how your week actually goes

What matters to you
  • Vendor risk flagged, not found by accident
Vendor news and breach reports get checked on a schedule, not remembered only after something has already gone wrong.
  • The register that reviews itself
Risks get their review date, an updated score, and a flagged mitigation gap without a spreadsheet hunt.
  • KRIs that alert before they matter
A threshold breach gets flagged the day it happens, not discovered in next month's report.
  • Every incident logged the same day
Loss events and near-misses get a record and a severity call before the details go soft.
  • Control tests that don't slip past due
Owners get reminded and results get tracked, so testing evidence exists before the auditor asks.
  • Reports the committee can actually use
Spend your hours assessing and deciding, not building the deck that gets you there.

And hundreds of other tasks you do manually..

An agent can take a lot off your team's plate. Take a look below to see the time and cost you could save by adding AI agents to your Risk team's day.

The problem

Where the hours go

  • The risk register goes stale between review cycles because updating every row by hand never makes it to the top of the list.

An agent checks each risk against its review date on schedule and flags what's overdue or missing a mitigation update.

  • Vendor red flags surface only after something's gone wrong, because nobody has time to check every critical vendor's news and financials every week.

An agent checks critical vendors for news, financial signals, and breach reports on a schedule and flags what actually matters.

  • KRIs get read once a month in a report, so a threshold breach can sit unnoticed for weeks before anyone reacts.

An agent checks each KRI against its threshold and posts a breach the day it happens, not at next month's read.

  • The committee pack gets built by hand from three different tools the night before the meeting, every single time.

An agent assembles the pack from the week's flags, KRI breaches, and open items, leaving the framing and judgment calls to you.

Triggers

Your Agent wakes up Automatically whenever something happens

Your agents watch the apps you already use and act the moment something happens, usually within about a minute, handle it based on your instructions, 24/7.

The agent automatically

When a risk's review date arrives, the agent pulls the record from the register, checks whether the agreed mitigation actually happened, and flags anything that's overdue or missing an owner, posting the flag to your risk channel so nothing sits stale between reviews.

Agent flags what's due and drafts the score

An agent checks every risk against its review date on schedule, pulls the latest evidence, and drafts a re-score for the owner to confirm.

Trust & control

You stay in control

An agent touching your risk register, vendor scores, and incident log only earns trust if you stay in control. Actionist is built so you decide what it can do, see everything it did, and own the data.

You approve every re-score

By default the agent proposes a flag or a score change and waits. Nothing overwrites the register without your sign-off, and you widen autonomy only where it has earned it.

Destructive actions always ask

Anything that closes an incident, deletes a record, or can't be undone stops for explicit approval, no matter how much autonomy you've granted elsewhere.

A full audit trail

Every page the agent read and every flag or score it proposed is logged, so you can always show exactly what happened and why, review-ready.

Your data stays yours

Vendor scores, incident details, and register data are encrypted, never used to train models, and if you need everything on your own infrastructure you can self-host on a VPS.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does my risk team need to be technical to set this up?
No. You describe the register, the vendors, and the KRIs you want watched in plain language, and connect the apps with a login the same way you'd connect any app. No code, no scripts, and no developer required to keep it running.
How do I get started?
Book a free demo and we'll set up an agent against a real slice of your risk work, your register, a critical vendor, or a KRI you already track. You see it read your data and draft a flag before you decide to roll it out further.
How do I build a custom AI agent for a risk workflow specific to us?
Describe the workflow in plain language, the apps it should read, the schedule it should run on, and what needs your sign-off, and Actionist builds an agent around it. The register, vendor, and KRI agents shown here are examples, not the limit of what you can build.
How quickly can I set Actionist up for the risk team?
Most teams connect their register, vendor watch list, and Slack the same day and have a working agent by the end of it. Widening what the agent covers, more vendors, more KRIs, more of the register, happens gradually as you build trust in its drafts.
Where does our risk register and vendor data live, and is it used to train AI?
Your data stays yours. It is encrypted, never used to train models, and every page the agent read and every flag it proposed is logged so you can audit exactly what it did. If you need everything on your own infrastructure, you can self-host on a VPS.
How does an agent check a vendor's news or financial health without an API?
It uses computer use in the cloud, the agent opens the same news sites, filing databases, and profile pages you would check yourself and reads what's there. That means it can watch vendor signals across sources that never had an integration at all, and compare today's read against what it saw before.
Will it re-score a risk, close an incident, or send the committee pack without me checking it first?
Only if you choose to let it. By default the agent drafts a re-score, an incident record, or a report and waits for your approval. Approval modes let you move from suggest, to ask each time, to guarded auto on the cases you trust, and anything destructive always asks first.
Can this replace our risk function or make the actual risk decisions?
No. The agents gather signals, check the register and KRIs against schedule, and draft flags and reports, but a person always assesses the risk, decides the response, and signs off. Actionist does not predict or prevent losses, it makes sure the real work of watching, logging, and reporting actually gets done on time.
How does it know which vendors or KRIs to watch?
You tell it, the critical vendor list, the tracked indicators, and their thresholds come from your register and your configuration. The agent monitors what you've told it matters and flags a genuine change, it doesn't decide on its own what counts as a risk.
