New subscriber CRM contact created at point of purchase

When a paid order fires in Uscreen, the agent retrieves the subscriber's details, creates or updates their contact in HubSpot with plan and purchase date, logs the order in Google Sheets, and posts a Slack notification to the sales channel — all within about a minute of the purchase, before the confirmation email lands in the buyer's inbox.

What your team gets back — two angles: what you stop doing manually, and what that's worth.

Without Actionist

What you do manually today

With Actionist

What your agent runs for you

  • Sales
    40 min / week
Manual subscriber logging after every purchase

After each Uscreen purchase, a team member logs into HubSpot, creates the contact, records the plan, and logs the order in a spreadsheet — 10 minutes per subscriber, multiplied by every order that comes in.

    Sales Agent
    0 min
Agent creates CRM record within about a minute of every paid order

When a Paid Order fires, the agent creates or updates the CRM contact, logs the order to the revenue sheet, and posts a Slack notification — no human touches the keyboard.

  • Marketing
    30 min / week
Manual win-back email setup on each cancellation

When a subscriber cancels, a marketer logs into Uscreen, checks the reason, goes to the email platform, finds the right sequence, and manually enrols the contact — taking 15 minutes per cancellation, often hours after the fact.

    Marketing Agent
    0 min
Agent enrols cancelled subscribers in a win-back sequence within about a minute

The Canceled Subscription trigger fires, the agent reads the cancellation reason, and enrols the subscriber in the matching win-back sequence — while the subscriber's intent to leave is still fresh.

  • Customer Support
    35 min / week
Manual subscriber lookup before every support interaction

Before answering any Uscreen-related ticket, a support rep opens a second tab, logs into Uscreen, searches for the subscriber, checks their plan and access — adding 5 minutes to every ticket that touches a subscriber.

    Customer Support Agent
    0 min
Agent surfaces subscriber context before every ticket is opened

The agent pre-loads each subscriber's plan, last login, and engagement data into the ticket before the rep touches it — zero tab-switching, full context from the first line.

  • Human Resources
    20 min / week
Manual training account creation for every new hire

HR creates each new hire's Uscreen account manually, assigns the correct bundles, sends login details by email, and follows up to confirm access — 20 minutes per employee, often done the night before or the morning of their start date.

    Human Resources Agent
    0 min
Agent provisions training access automatically before day one

When a new hire appears in the onboarding sheet, the agent creates their account, assigns the mandatory bundle, and emails their credentials — no HR manual steps and access is live before the employee arrives.

  • Finance
    60 min / week
Manual weekly revenue export and reconciliation

Finance logs into Uscreen, exports orders, pastes them into the reconciliation spreadsheet, calculates MRR manually, and compares against payment processor records — 60 minutes every Friday that should not exist.

    Finance Agent
    0 min
Agent calculates MRR and reconciles orders automatically every Friday

The Finance Agent lists orders and subscriber plans, calculates MRR, writes it to the dashboard, and posts the summary to Slack — finance opens Friday with current numbers, no manual export needed.

  • Operations
    30 min / week
    Manual cross-platform subscriber data reconciliation

Operations periodically exports the Uscreen subscriber list and manually compares it against the CRM and email platform — a 2-hour quarterly task that still leaves data drift between reviews.

    Operations Agent
    0 min
Agent keeps subscriber records consistent across all platforms continuously

The User Updated trigger fires whenever a subscriber changes in Uscreen, and the agent pushes the update to the CRM and email platform — data stays consistent without a quarterly reconciliation sprint.

  • Legal
    15 min / week
Manual access revocation and audit logging for compliance requests

When a legal hold or GDPR deletion request arrives, legal emails the ops team, waits for them to revoke access in Uscreen, then manually updates the compliance register — taking 24–72 hours and multiple handoffs.

    Legal Agent
    0 min
Agent revokes access and logs the action within the same weekly sweep

The Legal Agent's weekly compliance sweep detects flagged accounts with live access, calls Revoke User Access, and writes the revocation to the audit log — no handoffs, documented within the same session.

FAQs

Questions about Uscreen + Actionist

How does Actionist connect to Uscreen?
Go to the Apps tab, find Uscreen, and click Connect. You will need your Uscreen API key — contact your Uscreen Customer Success Manager to obtain it, as API access is available on the UscreenPlus plan. Paste the key into the API Key field in Actionist, and the agent runs a test call to confirm the handshake. Once connected, your agents can create users, assign bundle access, and react to webhook events.
What Uscreen plan do I need to use the API and webhooks with Actionist?
API access is available to customers on the UscreenPlus plan — contact your Customer Success Manager for your API key. Webhooks (Paid Order, Canceled Subscription, New User, User Updated, Began to Play Video) are available on the App Essentials or Plus plan. If you are on a lower plan you can still use scheduled agent tasks that poll Uscreen data, but event-driven workflows require the webhook-enabled tier.
How quickly does Actionist react to a new paid order or cancellation in Uscreen?
Uscreen's webhooks are processed within about a minute of the event. Once the webhook fires, Actionist picks it up and starts executing the workflow steps — creating the CRM contact, sending the notification, or logging the cancellation — with no human intervention. Uscreen notes that webhooks are in a lower-priority queue and may sometimes experience up to a 10-minute delay depending on system availability, so workflows should be designed to be resilient to that window rather than relying on sub-second delivery.
Can Actionist handle bulk subscriber provisioning in Uscreen?
Yes. If you need to provision a cohort — new course launch, event replay access, partner batch — your agent calls Create User and Assign User Access in sequence for each member. Bulk assignment in Uscreen is intended for users who do not already have an existing bundle or subscription on the same plan, so the agent checks Get User Details first to avoid reassigning access to an account that already has it. For large cohorts, the agent batches the calls to stay within Uscreen's API rate limits.
What other apps can I connect to Uscreen workflows in Actionist?
Uscreen works with any of Actionist's connected apps. The most common combinations are: HubSpot or Salesforce for CRM sync on paid orders and cancellations; Google Sheets or Notion for revenue tracking and churn logging; Gmail or an email platform for welcome and win-back sequences; Slack for real-time team alerts on high-value signups or cancellations; and Stripe for payment reconciliation when orders come through an off-platform route. Any app in the Actionist catalogue can participate in a Uscreen workflow.
Can Actionist monitor video engagement and trigger actions based on watch behaviour?
Yes. The Began to Play Video trigger fires within about a minute when a subscriber starts a video, and the Get Subscriber Engagement and Get Video Analytics actions let your agent pull watch time, completion rates, and last-login data on a schedule. Common patterns are: flagging subscribers with 21+ days of inactivity for a re-engagement notification, detecting first plays to mark onboarding milestones, and pulling weekly completion rates to identify under-performing content before it drives churn.
How does Actionist handle subscriber access when someone gets a refund or needs to be removed for compliance reasons?
The Revoke User Access action removes a subscriber's bundle access immediately. For refunds, you can trigger this action from a Stripe refund event so access is revoked within about a minute of the refund being processed — no manual admin needed. For compliance holds or GDPR deletion requests, the Legal Agent runs a weekly sweep to verify that flagged accounts have had their access revoked and logs each revocation with a timestamp and reference number for the audit trail.
Can I use Actionist to run internal training programmes on Uscreen as well as a public membership?
Yes — the HR Agent use case is specifically built for internal training. The agent creates employee accounts, assigns mandatory training bundles, monitors completion via Get Subscriber Engagement, and revokes access when an employee offboards. The same Uscreen API handles both your public membership and your internal training platform, so a single Actionist connection covers both.
