Stripe (Legacy)
· #12 most-usedAutomate payments, subscriptions, and billing
Stripe (Legacy) is the proven payments API that powers subscriptions, one-time charges, invoicing, and customer billing for thousands of SaaS and ecommerce businesses. Connect it to Actionist and your agents can create customers, manage subscriptions, react to payment events, and keep your CRM and finance tools in sync with every transaction — without logging into the Stripe dashboard.
Eliminates manual work. Agents eliminate manual CRM updates after payments, weekly MRR exports, refund processing, subscription status checks, and invoice reconciliation — tasks that typically take finance and operations teams 4-6 hours per week across a 10-person company.

How to plug Stripe (Legacy) into Actionist
Pick the connection method that suits your environment.
Connect Actionist to Stripe using your API Secret Key. Generate a key in your Stripe developer dashboard and paste it below — Actionist uses it to read and write customers, subscriptions, charges, and invoices on your behalf.
Log in to Stripe and navigate to Developers → API Keys. Decide whether you want to connect in live mode or test mode — use test mode first to verify the integration.
In the Standard Keys section, click Create secret key, give it a name like 'Actionist', and click Create. Copy the key immediately — it will not be shown again.
