Omnisend
· #334 most-usedDrive ecommerce revenue with email, SMS, and push — all automated
Omnisend is an email and SMS marketing automation platform built for ecommerce businesses. It gives teams a single place to build contact lists, create segmented audiences, design email campaigns, trigger automations based on customer behaviour, and measure revenue attribution from every send. Connect it to Actionist and your agents can create and schedule campaigns, enrol contacts from any source, fire custom automation triggers when things happen outside Omnisend, retrieve segment health statistics, and keep your compliance log current — all without opening the Omnisend dashboard.
Eliminates manual work. Agents eliminate the manual cycle of syncing contacts to Omnisend, setting up campaigns in the email builder, exporting performance reports by hand, and manually logging unsubscribes and sends to compliance records.
What your Omnisend agent runs on autopilot
A week of scheduled jobs your Actionist agent will execute on your behalf.
Omnisend × every other app you use
End-to-end automations that span multiple apps — each one a real business outcome.
Product launch email staged and scheduled on publish
When a new product is published in Shopify, the agent finds the matching audience segment and email template in Omnisend, creates a campaign with the product name and link pre-filled, and schedules it for the next morning. The marketing team gets a Slack confirmation — the launch email is ready without anyone opening the Omnisend campaign builder.

What your team gets back — two angles: what you stop doing manually, and what that's worth.
What you do manually today
What your agent runs for you
- Sales45 min / weekManual lead-to-email-list sync
Reps or marketing ops manually export CRM leads to CSV, import them into Omnisend, and tag each one — a process that typically lags by days and misses contacts who convert fast.
Sales Agent0 minAgent enrolls leads in email sequences as they arriveWhen a new lead is added to the CRM, the agent creates an Omnisend subscriber, tags the source, and fires the welcome event — the nurture sequence starts within about a minute without the rep touching Omnisend.
- Marketing90 min / weekManual campaign setup in Omnisend
A team member logs into Omnisend, creates each campaign manually, selects the audience, uploads or selects the template, sets the schedule, and proofreads before sending — typically 20-30 minutes per campaign.
Marketing Agent0 minAgent stages and schedules campaigns from the briefThe marketing agent reads the weekly campaign brief, creates each campaign in Omnisend with the correct template and segment, and schedules all sends — the campaign builder session becomes a review-and-approve workflow.
- Customer Support30 min / weekManual review request send
CX team manually identifies satisfied customers from the ticket queue, exports their emails, and uploads them to Omnisend to trigger the review sequence — done weekly at best, missing most resolution windows.
Customer Support Agent0 minAgent triggers post-resolution sequences automaticallyWhen a ticket closes as resolved, the agent fires the customer event in Omnisend and the review-request sequence starts within about a minute — with no CX team member needing to log the action.
- Human Resources20 min / weekManual list maintenance for internal comms
HR manually exports the employee list to CSV each month and re-imports it into Omnisend, with leavers and starters often out of sync for 2-4 weeks before the next export.
Human Resources Agent0 minAgent adds new starters on day one and removes leavers on exitWhen a new hire is added to the HRIS, the agent creates their Omnisend subscriber record the Thursday before their start date — the welcome email fires automatically on Monday morning.
- Finance60 min / weekManual Omnisend report export for finance
A marketing team member logs into Omnisend, exports campaign performance to CSV, reformats it for the financial model, and emails it to finance — typically done the night before the review, under time pressure.
Finance Agent0 minAgent delivers email attribution data before the finance reviewThe finance agent retrieves campaign stats and segment sizes from Omnisend and writes them to the financial model automatically — the CFO has email-channel ROI numbers without anyone manually exporting reports.
- Operations40 min / weekManual segment count checks
Ops manually spot-checks segment sizes in the Omnisend dashboard before major sends — a fragmented process that misses gradual decay and catches problems only after a campaign has already gone out to the wrong audience size.
Operations Agent0 minAgent monitors segment health and flags anomalies weeklyEvery Monday, the operations agent retrieves all segment contact counts, calculates week-over-week change, and flags anomalous segments before the week's campaigns are staged — list quality is protected before sends, not after.
- Legal25 min / weekManual compliance log maintenance
Legal or marketing ops manually exports campaign send logs from Omnisend monthly and updates the compliance register — a process that is rarely current and cannot demonstrate timely opt-out processing for audits.
Legal Agent0 minAgent logs campaign dispatch and opt-outs to compliance registerCampaign send records and unsubscribe events are automatically logged to the compliance register by the legal agent — the audit trail is maintained without anyone manually exporting and filing records.
