Turn any website into a membership business — and keep your member data flowing

CRMMarketingEcommerceAutomationPaymentsWebsite & CMSCommunity

MemberSpace is a membership platform that lets you turn any part of your website into members-only content, manage plans, and process recurring payments — without migrating to a new CMS. It works on Squarespace, WordPress, Webflow, Wix, and more. Connect MemberSpace to Actionist and your agents can react within about a minute to every new membership, cancellation, or profile update — syncing member data to your CRM and email platform, storing progress and preferences in member metadata, automating access provisioning and offboarding, and producing weekly membership revenue reports — all without anyone logging into the MemberSpace dashboard.

    Marketing Agent

Agent posts membership growth digest automatically

Every Tuesday at 8 AM the agent computes the week-over-week member count change and posts the growth rate to Slack — no spreadsheet, no dashboard login.

  • Customer Support
    25 min / week
    Manual member lookup per ticket

    Customer Support Agent
    0 min
Agent looks up member status before every ticket

Before the support rep sees the ticket, the agent has already retrieved the member's plan status, tier, and metadata — the rep opens the ticket with full context, no dashboard switch required.

  • Human Resources
    20 min / week
    Manual training access provisioning

HR manually logs into MemberSpace, adds each new hire to the correct training plan, then emails IT to confirm access — a multi-step process that can delay a new hire's first-day training.

    Human Resources Agent
    0 min
Agent provisions training access from onboarding sheet

When a new hire row is added to the onboarding spreadsheet, the agent adds them to the internal training plan and writes cohort metadata — no IT ticket, no manual MemberSpace admin step.

    Finance Agent

Agent delivers MRR snapshot before every standup

Every Monday the agent retrieves active member counts per plan, calculates MRR, and posts the breakdown to Slack before the leadership standup — finance has current numbers without opening MemberSpace.

  • Operations
    60 min / week
    Manual cross-platform member reconciliation

Operations exports member lists from MemberSpace, CRM, and the email platform, uses VLOOKUP to find mismatches, and manually creates or updates any missing records each week.

    Operations Agent
    0 min
Agent audits cross-platform member sync weekly

Every Tuesday the agent cross-references all active MemberSpace members against the CRM and email platform, flags any gaps, and queues corrections — no manual reconciliation spreadsheet.

  • Legal
    10 min / week
    Manual GDPR data erasure workflow

The legal team manually finds the member in MemberSpace, removes custom data field by field, logs the action in a spreadsheet, and drafts the confirmation email by hand — 30-40 minutes per request.

    Legal Agent
    0 min
Agent processes GDPR erasure requests in minutes

When an erasure request is logged, the agent locates the member, clears their metadata, logs the action to the compliance tracker, and sends the confirmation email — the entire process takes minutes, not hours.

FAQs

Questions about MemberSpace + Actionist

How does Actionist connect to MemberSpace?
Go to the Apps tab, find MemberSpace, and click Connect. You'll be prompted to paste in your MemberSpace API key. You can find this under Account Settings in your MemberSpace dashboard. Once you paste the key and click Test Connection, Actionist runs a read-only call to confirm the handshake before any agent tasks are allowed to run.
What permissions does the agent need on my MemberSpace account?
Your API key gives the Actionist agent the same access level as the account holder who generated it. For read operations — looking up member records, checking plan status, searching by email — no additional permissions are needed. For write operations such as updating member metadata or canceling a membership, the same key applies. MemberSpace does not currently offer scoped API keys, so you should generate the key under a dedicated admin account if you want to limit surface area.
Can I combine MemberSpace with other apps in the same workflow?
Yes — MemberSpace is designed to be combined with the tools where member-related work actually happens. Common pairings: when a new membership fires, create a contact in your CRM or add the member to a Mailchimp audience; when a membership is canceled, archive the contact and notify the support team in Slack; when a member profile is updated, sync the change to your email platform. Actionist connects MemberSpace to 200+ apps so any event or action on either side can trigger work on the other.
What are the most common things agents do with MemberSpace?
The four patterns that come up most often: (1) membership lifecycle sync — reacting to new, updated, or canceled memberships by updating CRM contacts, email lists, or access records elsewhere; (2) member lookup and enrichment — using Find Member to pull a member's plan status before composing a personalized email or support reply; (3) churn prevention — detecting canceled or expired memberships within about a minute and triggering a win-back sequence in your email platform; (4) member reporting — pulling plan-level data on a schedule and writing summaries to Google Sheets or Notion for the weekly business review.
Does the Actionist integration work regardless of which website platform I use with MemberSpace?
MemberSpace works on Squarespace, WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Showit, and several other website platforms. The Actionist integration connects to MemberSpace at the account level via API key, regardless of which underlying website platform you use. As long as you have a MemberSpace account, the Actionist agent can access your member data and respond to membership events independently of the website platform.
How quickly does Actionist respond when a MemberSpace event occurs?
MemberSpace's webhook-based triggers in Actionist fire within about a minute of the event occurring in your account. New Membership, Canceled Membership, Created Member Profile, and Updated Member Profile are all webhook-driven events. The agent receives the payload and can immediately take actions downstream — such as updating a CRM, sending a Slack alert, or writing to a spreadsheet — without any polling delay.
Can I automatically trigger a win-back campaign when a MemberSpace member cancels?
If a member cancels and you want to re-engage them, you can build a workflow triggered by the Canceled Membership event that immediately adds the member's email to a win-back sequence in your email platform (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ConvertKit, etc.), logs the cancellation reason in your CRM, and creates a follow-up task for your team. The agent uses Find Member to look up the full member record so the win-back email can reference the specific plan the member was on. Timing and content of the outreach is fully configurable in the workflow.
Can Actionist keep my CRM and email platform in sync when a MemberSpace member updates their profile?
Yes. The Updated Member Profile trigger fires within about a minute of any profile change — name, email, custom fields. You can use this to keep your CRM, email platform, and internal records in sync without any manual reconciliation. The agent receives the updated profile data in the trigger payload, so it can map the new values directly to the corresponding fields in your CRM or email tool rather than doing a separate lookup.
