How does Actionist connect to LingvaNex?

You will need an API key from your LingvaNex account — log into lingvanex.com, navigate to your account dashboard, and generate an API key under the API section. Paste the key into the API key field in Actionist and click Test connection. Actionist runs a live Detect Language call to confirm the key is valid before any translation actions run.
How many languages does LingvaNex support and which ones can I translate between?
LingvaNex supports over 109 languages in its cloud translation API. The full list is retrievable via the List Supported Languages action. For on-premise deployments, the language set may differ depending on the installed language pack. Common pairs include English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, Korean, and dozens more. The API also supports HTML translation and automatic source language detection, so you do not need to specify the source language unless you want to.
How is LingvaNex priced and does it store my translated content?
LingvaNex charges $5 per million characters translated via its cloud API, with bulk discounts available for high-volume usage. There is also an on-premise server option starting at $10 per day for organizations that require data to stay inside their own infrastructure. LingvaNex explicitly deletes all submitted text immediately after translation is complete — no data is stored on their servers — which can be important for compliance-sensitive content like legal documents or customer PII. GDPR and CCPA compliance are built in.

Can I combine LingvaNex with other apps in the same workflow?
Yes. Actionist can connect LingvaNex with any other app in the same scheduled agent task. Does LingvaNex offer an on-premise option for sensitive data?
LingvaNex offers both cloud (SaaS API) and on-premise deployment. The cloud API is the standard path and requires only an API key; data leaves your network and is deleted by LingvaNex after processing. On-premise lets you self-host the translation engine on your own servers so text never leaves your infrastructure — suitable for regulated industries (healthcare, legal, finance) or organizations with strict data residency requirements. Actionist connects to the cloud API; for on-premise, you would configure the base URL to point to your own LingvaNex server endpoint.
