What permissions does the Kartra API key give Actionist?
Kartra's API credential pair — App ID and API Password — provides full account-level access, including reading and writing leads, managing tags, lists, sequences, subscriptions, and transactions. There is no granular scope system in Kartra's API today, so the credentials you provide give Actionist access to all API endpoints. Store them securely and rotate them if they are ever exposed. Actionist never stores credentials in plain text.

This find-or-update pattern prevents duplicate contacts accumulating in Kartra from multiple inbound data sources.
Can Actionist manage lead scoring in Kartra automatically?
Yes. The Add Points to a Lead and Remove Points From a Lead actions let agents increment or decrement a lead's score based on any external event — a video completion in another platform, a webinar attendance, a pricing page visit tracked by analytics, or a support ticket escalation.
