Generate talking avatar videos and run live AI avatars in one API call

MarketingCommunicationAIAutomationCourses & LMS

AvatarTalk is an enterprise AI avatar platform that generates talking avatar videos with perfect lipsync in one API call — under 2 seconds for standard generation, with real-time streaming via WebSocket for kiosks, chatbots, and live broadcasts. It supports 14 diverse avatar characters and 17 languages, making it the right choice for teams that need multilingual video content at scale without recording studios or video editors. Connect AvatarTalk to Actionist and your agents can generate personalised prospect pitch videos, produce compliance training in every required language, spin up live avatar participants in LiveKit meetings, stream avatar broadcasts to YouTube via RTMP, and manage credit consumption — all from scheduled agent tasks.

Personalised avatar pitch video delivered before the first email

When a prospect hits Qualified status in HubSpot, the agent fetches the right pitch script from Notion, generates a personalised avatar video with the prospect's name and industry woven in, uploads it to Google Drive, and attaches the link to the deal record — all before the rep writes the first outreach email. Every qualified prospect receives a polished video touchpoint within about a minute of being added.

What your team gets back — two angles: what you stop doing manually, and what that's worth.

Without Actionist

What you do manually today

With Actionist

What your agent runs for you

  • Sales
    120 min / week
Manual video recording for each prospect

Reps record or outsource a personalised pitch video per prospect — booking a room, editing, and uploading takes 30 to 60 minutes per video, so most prospects never get one.

    Sales Agent
    0 min
Agent generates a personalised avatar video per prospect automatically

When a prospect is qualified in the CRM, the agent generates a personalised avatar pitch video within about a minute — no recording, no editing, no upload required.

  • Marketing
    240 min / week
Separate recordings per language and market

Creating a campaign video in five languages means five separate recording sessions, five translators, and five editing rounds — typically a multi-week production cycle.

    Marketing Agent
    0 min
Agent generates all language versions in a single scheduled agent task

The Marketing Agent generates campaign videos in every target language using region-appropriate avatars in one batch, completing in under 10 minutes what took weeks to produce manually.

  • Customer Support
    60 min / week
Text-only ticket replies for complex issues

Support agents write text explanations for complex technical questions — customers frequently re-open tickets because they misunderstood the written instructions.

    Customer Support Agent
    0 min
Agent generates an avatar tutorial video for every FAQ-matched ticket

When a ticket matches a known issue, the Support Agent generates a short avatar tutorial video in the customer's language and attaches it to the ticket reply — reducing re-open rates.

  • Human Resources
    90 min / week
One-size-fits-all onboarding videos re-used for years

HR records one generic onboarding video per year — it quickly becomes outdated and does not address individual roles, departments, or languages.

    Human Resources Agent
    0 min
Agent generates a personalised welcome video for each new hire before day one

When a new hire is added to the HRIS, the HR Agent generates a personalised welcome video in their language with their name and role — always current, always personal.

  • Finance
    60 min / week
Slide-deck investor updates with no video component

Finance distributes a PDF or slide deck each week — investors skim rather than engage, and the CFO loses 30 to 60 minutes preparing the narrative for every update.

    Finance Agent
    0 min
Agent generates a professional avatar investor update video every week automatically

When the weekly investor report is finalised, the Finance Agent generates an avatar video of the key metrics summary and distributes it — no presenter required, consistent every week.

  • Operations
    45 min / week
Manual LiveKit session setup and teardown per event

Operations staff manually create and delete LiveKit avatar sessions for each interactive demo or kiosk deployment — missed teardowns leave sessions running and waste credits overnight.

    Operations Agent
    0 min
Agent provisions and terminates LiveKit avatar sessions on a schedule

The Operations Agent provisions session pools at business hours start and terminates all orphaned sessions before end of day — credit waste from overnight sessions is eliminated.

  • Legal
    90 min / week
Text-heavy compliance communications no one reads

Legal sends compliance updates as long-form documents — employee acknowledgement rates are low and the legal team has no proof of comprehension.

    Legal Agent
    0 min
Agent generates multilingual compliance training videos for every regulation update

When a regulation update is logged, the Legal Agent generates a compliance training video in every required language and publishes it to the LMS with completion tracking — comprehension is measured, not assumed.

FAQs

Questions about AvatarTalk + Actionist

How does Actionist connect to AvatarTalk?
Go to the Apps tab, find AvatarTalk, and click Connect. You will need an API key from your AvatarTalk account — register at avatartalk.ai, then copy the key from your dashboard and paste it into the API key field in Actionist. Actionist runs a test inference call to confirm the connection before any agent tasks run.
What avatars and languages does AvatarTalk support?
AvatarTalk ships 14 diverse avatar characters including japanese_man, european_woman, african_man, mexican_woman, arab_woman, and colombian_woman. It supports 17 languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Hindi. Your agent can pick the right avatar and language per use case without manual intervention.
How fast does AvatarTalk generate avatar videos?
Most videos render in under 2 seconds via the standard POST /inference endpoint, which is fast enough for near-real-time chat applications. For truly live streaming scenarios such as kiosks or webchat, the WebSocket /ws/infer and /ws/continuous endpoints stream fMP4 video chunks as they are generated — you get the first frame within milliseconds of sending the text. Actionist agents that need scheduled or batch video generation use the regular endpoint; real-time pipeline integrations use the streaming variants.
How is AvatarTalk billed, and do agent tasks consume credits?
AvatarTalk uses a pay-per-second model — 1 second of generated video costs 1 second of your account credit. There are no monthly subscriptions; you buy credit packs (100 min for $10, 300 min for $24, 1,000 min for $50). When Actionist agents call AvatarTalk actions, each call draws from your credit balance. A 403 INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS error is returned if the balance runs out, so top up before large scheduled batches.
Can I stream AvatarTalk videos to YouTube or embed them in a LiveKit room?
Yes. AvatarTalk's WebSocket endpoint accepts an rtmp_url parameter, so the agent can direct a live avatar stream straight to a YouTube RTMP ingest URL for a live broadcast. For real-time conversational applications built on LiveKit, use the Create LiveKit Avatar Session action — the agent spins up an avatar participant in the meeting room and the avatar interacts with attendees. Both patterns are supported through Actionist actions.
Can AvatarTalk handle emotion control for different business contexts?
Yes. Every inference call accepts an emotion parameter — choose from happy, neutral, or serious. Your Actionist agent can vary the emotion based on context: serious for compliance training videos, happy for product demos, neutral for news-style announcements. The /ws/continuous streaming endpoint uses an expression parameter with the same options, and the LiveKit session creation also takes emotion as a required field.
Does AvatarTalk support on-premise or offline deployment?
AvatarTalk offers cloud, on-premise, and fully offline embedded hardware deployment options. The Actionist integration targets the hosted cloud API, which covers the vast majority of business automation use cases. For on-premise deployments, you would point the Actionist API key connection at your self-hosted AvatarTalk instance's endpoint. Contact AvatarTalk directly for enterprise on-premise licensing.
What happens if an AvatarTalk API call fails mid-workflow?
AvatarTalk returns standardised error responses: 400 INVALID_PARAMETERS (check text/avatar/language values), 401 INVALID_API_KEY (re-paste your key in Actionist settings), 403 INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS (top up your balance), and 500 INFERENCE_FAILED (retry — usually transient). WebSocket connections close with error code 1008 for auth or credit issues and 1011 for processing errors. Actionist surfaces these in the agent run log so you can diagnose and rerun failed tasks.
