Push yourself an alert from any workflow, in seconds

CommunicationProductivityDeveloperAutomationMonitoring & Alerts

Alerty is a lightweight push notification API that lets developers and teams send native alerts to any iOS, Android, or desktop device with a single HTTP call. Add Alerty to the Actionist app store and your agents can push completion receipts, error alerts, status updates, and milestone notifications directly to the right person's phone — with optional urgency levels, embedded images, and deep-link action buttons — without routing everything through a shared Slack channel.

Eliminates manual work. Agents eliminate the manual cycle of logging into dashboards, checking job logs, and scanning queues to discover events that Alerty can push directly to the team's devices within about a minute of occurring.

Deployment result delivered to the engineer's phone instantly

When a CI/CD pipeline finishes on GitHub, the agent fetches the build outcome and sends a targeted Alerty push to the deploying engineer's device — high-urgency for failures, low-urgency for successes. The same result is posted to the Slack deployments channel and logged in Notion. The engineer never has to poll the CI dashboard.

What your team gets back — two angles: what you stop doing manually, and what that's worth.

With Actionist

What your agent runs for you

  • Sales
    30 min / week
Rep discovers the issue on next CRM login

Sales reps check the CRM manually to find stalled deals or pending signatures — delays of hours or days are common when the rep is in back-to-back calls.

    Sales Agent
    0 min
Agent pushes the alert to the rep's phone within a minute

When a high-value deal stalls or a contract requires signature, the agent sends an Alerty notification directly to the account executive's device with a deep link to the relevant CRM record.

  • Marketing
    40 min / week
Team discovers performance in the next dashboard check

Marketers log into the analytics dashboard at irregular intervals to check whether campaigns are on track — meaningful moments go unnoticed until the weekly review.

    Marketing Agent
    0 min
Agent broadcasts campaign milestones to the team as they happen

When a campaign crosses a click or conversion threshold, the marketing agent sends an Alerty broadcast to the whole team's devices — everyone knows the moment the milestone is hit.

  • Customer Support
    25 min / week
L2 lead spots the escalation during queue review

Support leads scan the ticket queue manually on an irregular cadence — critical tickets can sit unescalated for 20–40 minutes while the lead is handling other tasks.

    Customer Support Agent
    0 min
Agent alerts the L2 lead the moment a critical ticket arrives

When a ticket is escalated to Critical, the support agent sends an immediate high-urgency Alerty push to the L2 lead with one-tap access to the ticket — response begins within about a minute.

  • Human Resources
    20 min / week
HR manually monitors calendars and trackers for deadlines

HR coordinators check onboarding trackers, probation calendars, and enrollment portals manually each day — deadlines are occasionally missed when attention is elsewhere.

    Human Resources Agent
    0 min
Agent notifies hiring managers and compliance teams within a minute of each trigger

Offer-stage moves, probation review deadlines, and enrollment cut-offs each generate a targeted Alerty push to the right person's device — nothing falls through the calendar.

  • Finance
    35 min / week
Finance discovers issues on next manual report review

Finance teams check payment dashboards and aging reports manually — payment failures discovered hours after they occur reduce the chance of same-day recovery.

    Finance Agent
    0 min
Agent surfaces payment failures and overdue invoices to the finance lead in near real time

Payment failures trigger an immediate Alerty push with the customer name and failure reason; overdue invoices surface via a weekly high-urgency notification before the AR team misses the collection window.

  • Operations
    45 min / week
Operations manually checks logs to confirm job outcomes

Engineers log into CI dashboards, cron monitoring tools, and data pipeline UIs to verify that overnight and background jobs completed successfully — a time-consuming daily ritual.

    Operations Agent
    0 min
Agent delivers completion receipts and error alerts for every automated task

Every scheduled agent task sends an Alerty push on completion or failure — the operations team has a continuous audit trail of automation health on their devices without logging into any tool.

  • Legal
    20 min / week
Legal counsel manually audits the contract register for upcoming deadlines

Legal teams rely on calendar reminders and manual contract register reviews to catch upcoming expirations — items are occasionally missed when the review cycle slips.

    Legal Agent
    0 min
Agent flags contract deadlines and compliance filings to the right person 30 days in advance

The legal agent monitors contract expiry dates and regulatory filing calendars and delivers targeted Alerty notifications to the responsible owner well in advance — no deadline is missed because of a crowded inbox.

FAQs

Questions about Alerty + Actionist

How does Actionist connect to Alerty?
Go to the Apps tab, find Alerty, and click Connect. Paste in the API key and notification URL from your Alerty account. Actionist runs a test notification to confirm the handshake before any agent sends a real alert. The whole process takes under two minutes.
What credentials do I need to connect Alerty?
Alerty uses API-key authentication. Log in to alerty.dev, copy your API key and your personal notification URL from the dashboard, then paste both into the Alerty connection form in Actionist. Every agent that uses the Alerty action will send notifications to the device subscribed to that URL.
Can I set urgency levels on the notifications my agent sends?
Yes. Alerty supports urgency levels on each notification — for example, marking a production outage alert as high-urgency versus a routine scheduled-task completion as very-low-urgency. Set the urgency field on the Notify Devices action when you configure the agent step.
Can notifications include images or action buttons?
You can include an image URL and action buttons in the notification payload. The actions field accepts a list of objects with an action URL, title, and optional icon — letting recipients tap a button in the notification itself to jump directly to a relevant page, dashboard, or ticket.
Which devices and platforms receive the notifications?
Alerty delivers notifications to browsers and iOS/Android home-screen PWAs. Your device just needs the Alerty web app added to the home screen — no App Store download required. Notifications arrive as native system alerts on iOS 16.4+ and on Android via Web Push. Actionist sends the notification within about a minute of the triggering event.
What are the most common developer use cases for Alerty with Actionist?
The most common patterns are: (1) deployment notifications — agent sends an Alerty push when a CI/CD pipeline finishes or fails; (2) monitoring alerts — when a server metric exceeds a threshold the agent fires a high-urgency push; (3) scheduled task receipts — after an agent runs a nightly report it sends a 'done' ping to the developer's phone; (4) error budget alerts — when an error rate crosses a limit the on-call developer gets an immediate notification with a deep-link action button to the relevant dashboard.
Can Alerty trigger workflows when someone taps a notification?
Alerty is a one-direction push service — it sends notifications to devices; it does not receive messages from them. There are no inbound-trigger events from Alerty itself. Actionist uses Alerty purely as the last step in a workflow: another app or a scheduled agent task fires first, and Alerty delivers the resulting alert to your phone or desktop.
Can I send a notification to a specific device?
Alerty notifications can carry a device_id parameter to target a specific subscribed device. If you have multiple devices registered, pass the device ID to route the alert to the right one. Leave the field empty to broadcast to all devices subscribed to your notification URL.
