MarketingAnalyticsAutomationWebsite & CMSMonitoring & Alerts

AccuRanker is the dedicated rank tracker built for professional SEO teams. It delivers daily keyword ranking updates, SERP feature analysis, pixel-position tracking, competitor rank monitoring, a 24-billion keyword research database, and AccuLLM — a separate module that tracks your brand's visibility inside ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, and AI Mode. Connect it to Actionist and your agents can pull current rankings for any domain or keyword, detect position drops or improvements, add new keywords to track, monitor competitor movements, and feed that data into reports, alerts, and decision workflows — all without anyone opening a dashboard tab.

How to plug AccuRanker into Actionist

Pick the connection method that suits your environment.

Generate a REST API token inside your AccuRanker account and paste it into Actionist. The same token works for both the Read API (v4) and the Write API (v4), so one credential gives your agent full read/write access.

1
Open AccuRanker API settings

Log in to AccuRanker, click your profile avatar in the top-right, then go to Account → API. Generate a new REST API token.

2
Copy the token

Copy the generated token. Treat it like a password — AccuRanker API tokens grant full read and write access to your domains, keywords, and ranking data.

3
Paste into Actionist

Paste the token below and click Test connection. Actionist runs a lightweight read call to confirm the token is valid before any actions run.

FAQs

Questions about AccuRanker + Actionist

How does Actionist connect to AccuRanker?
Go to the Apps tab, find AccuRanker, and click Connect. The recommended method is an API token. Inside AccuRanker, navigate to Account → API and generate a REST API token. Paste it into Actionist and click Test connection — Actionist makes a lightweight read call to confirm the token is valid before any actions run. The same token works for both read operations (fetching rankings, domain overviews, competitor data) and write operations (adding or deleting keywords and domains).
What ranking data can Actionist agents pull from AccuRanker?
Agents can retrieve current keyword positions, position history over any date range, SERP feature presence (featured snippets, AI Overviews, image packs, local packs, and more), pixel-position data showing above/below-fold placement, landing page rankings (which URL is ranking for which keyword), competitor positions for any tracked domain, and domain-level aggregates like average position and visibility score. Every metric available in the AccuRanker dashboard is accessible via the API.
Can agents add and remove keywords from AccuRanker without opening the dashboard?
Yes. Using the AccuRanker Write API, agents can add new keywords to any tracked domain (specifying search engine, location, device type, and tags), delete keywords that are no longer relevant, and update keyword tags for segmentation. This means you can wire up triggers — like a new blog post publishing in HubSpot or a new campaign being created — so that relevant keywords are added to AccuRanker automatically, and retired terms are cleaned up when campaigns end, all without manual dashboard visits.
Does AccuRanker support tracking multiple domains, and can Actionist agents work across all of them?
Yes. AccuRanker supports unlimited domains on most plans, and Actionist agents can work across the full set. The List domains action returns all domains in the account with their IDs and settings, letting agents route subsequent actions (fetch rankings, add keywords, get overviews) to the correct domain. This makes AccuRanker and Actionist particularly well-suited for agencies managing multiple client properties, or companies running separate regional domains.
Can Actionist agents monitor AccuLLM data alongside traditional keyword rankings?
Yes. AccuRanker's AccuLLM module tracks how often and how prominently your brand appears in AI-generated answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, and Google AI Overviews. Actionist agents can pull AccuLLM visibility data via the API and combine it with traditional rank data in the same report — giving your team a unified view of search visibility across both classic and AI-powered results in a single scheduled agent task.
How often does AccuRanker update ranking data, and does that affect when agents should run?
AccuRanker updates keyword rankings daily by default, and its 'Refresh on demand' feature lets you request an on-demand update for specific keywords at any time. For scheduled agent tasks that report weekly rankings, running at 7–8 AM on a weekday ensures the day's update has completed. For monitoring workflows that watch for rank drops, a daily morning scheduled agent task is the right cadence — within about a minute of the task running, fresh data is available in the API.
What AccuRanker plan do I need to use the API with Actionist?
API access is available on AccuRanker's paid plans. AccuRanker advertises unlimited API calls on its standard plans, so there is no per-request cost ceiling that would limit how frequently agents poll ranking data. The number of trackable keywords and domains depends on your plan tier. Check AccuRanker's current pricing at accuranker.com for the exact plan boundaries — Actionist does not manage your AccuRanker subscription or keyword quota.
Can I combine AccuRanker data with other tools in the same Actionist workflow?
Yes. AccuRanker rank data integrates naturally with every other app connected to Actionist. Common combinations: pull rankings from AccuRanker and push them to Google Sheets for reporting; detect a ranking drop and create an investigation task in Notion or ClickUp; add keywords to AccuRanker whenever a new post publishes in HubSpot or WordPress; send competitive ranking summaries to Slack; or combine AccuRanker visibility data with Google Analytics traffic numbers to correlate rank changes with traffic impact — all in a single scheduled agent task.
