Solve any CAPTCHA automatically and keep your automations moving

ProductivityDeveloperAISecurityAutomation

2Captcha is a CAPTCHA solving service that combines AI neural models with a human worker network to solve any CAPTCHA type — reCAPTCHA v2/v3, Cloudflare Turnstile, FunCaptcha, GeeTest, image-to-text, audio, and 30+ more — via a simple REST API. Connect it to Actionist and your agents can submit CAPTCHA tasks, retrieve solved tokens, report outcomes, and monitor account balance automatically — unblocking automation pipelines that would otherwise stall at a CAPTCHA gate without any human needing to touch a puzzle.

Automated CAPTCHA token batch for queued pipeline tasks

When new rows appear in the Google Sheets CAPTCHA pipeline queue, the agent checks the 2Captcha balance, submits all queued tasks in parallel, polls until every token is ready, and writes solved tokens back to the sheet — posting a completion summary to Slack so downstream automations can proceed.

What your team gets back — two angles: what you stop doing manually, and what that's worth.

Without Actionist

What you do manually today

With Actionist

What your agent runs for you

  • Sales
    60 min / week
    Manual CAPTCHA solving during lead-gen

Reps or SDRs manually solve each CAPTCHA when their outreach automation hits a gate — stopping the flow, context-switching, and re-entering the pipeline at least a dozen times per session.

    Sales Agent
    0 min
Agent solves CAPTCHA and submits lead forms automatically

When a prospecting pipeline hits a reCAPTCHA gate, the agent calls Solve reCAPTCHA v2, injects the token, and completes the form submission without human intervention — the rep only sees results.

  • Marketing
    90 min / week
    Blocked market research scrapes

CAPTCHA gates on competitor and industry data sources block automated monitoring, forcing analysts to visit sites manually or skip them — leaving market intelligence out of date.

    Marketing Agent
    0 min
Agent bypasses CAPTCHA gates on competitor monitoring runs

The Marketing Agent submits Turnstile and image CAPTCHA tasks for every protected competitor data source on a scheduled cadence, keeping market intelligence fresh without any manual dashboard visits.

  • Customer Support
    75 min / week
    Manual QA of CAPTCHA-protected forms

Support QA requires testers to manually complete CAPTCHAs on every form path, making it impractical to run more than a surface-level check each release — accessibility paths are rarely tested.

    Customer Support Agent
    0 min
Agent tests all CAPTCHA forms weekly with real solves

The Support Agent uses 2Captcha to run live end-to-end tests on every customer-facing form including the audio accessibility path — catching broken CAPTCHA implementations before customers see them.

  • Human Resources
    45 min / week
Manual job board monitoring for competitive roles

Recruiters visit LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor manually to check competitor postings, spending 30–60 minutes per week on repetitive searches that rarely surface results at the right time.

    Human Resources Agent
    0 min
Agent scrapes job boards past CAPTCHA for competitive intel

The HR Agent solves Turnstile and reCAPTCHA challenges on job boards to pull competitor posting data automatically — recruiters receive a formatted brief without visiting a single board manually.

  • Finance
    30 min / week
    Manual 2Captcha account monitoring

Finance or ops manually logs into the 2Captcha dashboard to check balance and download spend reports, often discovering credits have run out only after an automation pipeline fails overnight.

    Finance Agent
    0 min
Agent tracks spend and balance automatically

The Finance Agent retrieves balance and App Stats on a schedule, writing spend breakdowns by CAPTCHA type to the cost tracker and alerting the team when credits run low — no manual account visits needed.

  • Operations
    120 min / week
    Manual CAPTCHA solve coordination

Operations teams manually trigger CAPTCHA tasks, check whether results came back, handle retries for failed solves, and report incorrect answers — a fragmented process that blocks other work.

    Operations Agent
    0 min
Agent manages full task lifecycle and feedback loop

The Operations Agent submits tasks, polls results, reports correct and incorrect outcomes, and monitors solve rates — the entire CAPTCHA pipeline runs and self-corrects without manual oversight.

  • Legal
    45 min / week
No audit trail for CAPTCHA-solving automations

Without automated logging, legal has no visibility into which domains were accessed via CAPTCHA-solving pipelines — creating undocumented exposure if a site's terms of service are later disputed.

    Legal Agent
    0 min
Agent documents CAPTCHA usage with an automated compliance log

The Legal Agent retrieves weekly App Stats and cross-references target domains against the authorised-access policy, writing a documented audit trail to the legal evidence folder for each review cycle.

FAQs

Questions about 2Captcha + Actionist

How does Actionist connect to 2Captcha?
Go to the Apps tab, find 2Captcha, and click Connect. Enter your 2Captcha API key — available from your 2Captcha dashboard under Settings → API key. Actionist runs a balance check to confirm the key is valid before any tasks are queued. Once connected, the agent can submit CAPTCHA solving tasks and retrieve tokens for use in downstream automation steps.
How does 2Captcha pricing work inside Actionist workflows?
2Captcha uses a credit-balance model rather than a subscription. You top up your account balance, and each CAPTCHA solved deducts a small amount — typically $0.001 per reCAPTCHA token or $0.0007 per image CAPTCHA. Pricing varies by CAPTCHA type: harder CAPTCHAs (Cloudflare Turnstile, FunCaptcha, GeeTest) cost slightly more. You can check your remaining balance at any time using the Get Balance action without consuming credits.
Which CAPTCHA types does 2Captcha support?
2Captcha supports a very broad range of CAPTCHA types: reCAPTCHA v2, v2 Enterprise, v3, v3 Enterprise, Cloudflare Turnstile, FunCaptcha (Arkose Labs), GeeTest, Amazon CAPTCHA, DataDome, Yandex SmartCaptcha, CyberSiARA, MTCaptcha, Lemin, KeyCAPTCHA, Capy Puzzle, atbCAPTCHA, image-to-text (Normal), text CAPTCHA, audio, Rotate, Grid, Coordinates, Draw Around, Bounding Box, and more. If a website uses a recognisable CAPTCHA provider, there is almost certainly a supported task type for it.
How long does it take for 2Captcha to solve a CAPTCHA?
The typical flow is asynchronous: you submit a task with Create Task, receive a task ID, and then poll Get Task Result until the status is 'ready'. Average solve time is 10–30 seconds for image CAPTCHAs and 20–60 seconds for reCAPTCHA tokens. For polling, the 2Captcha API recommends waiting at least 5 seconds between requests. Within Actionist, the agent handles the polling loop automatically so you receive a ready-to-use token without building the wait logic yourself.
Can I report back to 2Captcha if a solution is wrong?
Yes. After the token returned by 2Captcha is submitted to the target website, you can report whether it was accepted using Report Correct or rejected using Report Incorrect. Reporting incorrect solutions helps 2Captcha improve accuracy and may result in a partial refund of the cost for that task. Actionist agents can be configured to send a Report Incorrect call automatically when a downstream step returns an authentication failure after submitting the token.
Does 2Captcha use AI or humans to solve CAPTCHAs?
2Captcha uses a combination of automated neural models and a network of human workers. For most common CAPTCHAs (reCAPTCHA, Turnstile, GeeTest), AI models handle the solution automatically. For image-to-text, audio, and some puzzle types, human workers provide the answer. This hybrid approach means average accuracy is high (typically 95–99% per type), and incorrect solutions are flagged and refunded when you use the report-back methods.
Is it legal to use 2Captcha in business automations?
2Captcha is designed for legitimate use cases including automated quality assurance, accessibility testing, RPA bots that need to authenticate into your own systems, and scraping of publicly available data within the target site's terms of service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with the terms of service of any site you automate against. Actionist does not prevent misuse, but 2Captcha's own terms prohibit using the service to perform illegal actions or bypass security measures on services you are not authorised to access.
Can I pass a proxy to 2Captcha for IP-sensitive CAPTCHAs?
Yes. 2Captcha provides a proxy configuration option in the createTask payload for CAPTCHA types that benefit from solving with the same IP as the page request (e.g., DataDome, Cloudflare Turnstile). You pass the proxy host, port, type (http/socks4/socks5), and optional credentials alongside the CAPTCHA parameters. The solver worker fetches the CAPTCHA challenge through your proxy, which is necessary for IP-sensitive challenges where the token is tied to the originating IP address.
